Dinosaurs - Did They Turn Into Birds?

So did they or what??

The more I watch a bird just doing it's thing, the more I begin to see things in the mannerisms of that bird that remind of what a dinosaur would have looked like.

I saw on TV once a doco where a scientist reckoned it was impossible to bring dinos back using DNA trapped in amber, but what he DID say was that he could possibly bring them back by reverse-engineering bird DNA until eventually out comes a dinosaur at the other end.

What do you think?? Should they do this?

  1. Yes they did. Flying animals are nothing like land animals and they really resemble dino's

I also saw it on a doc.

  3. That's an interesting take on it... I'm not sure if it's possible though.

  4. yes they did, it was the small raptors that evolved. I think they managed to engineer a chicken embryo with teeth and a tail, sort of like a dinosaur.

  7. Showin support. I, for one, would love to see this happen. Sadly, the Earth is not the tropical swamp it was 65 million years ago, so they would need to build a biodome or something for the dinosaurs.

  10. if you could bring dinos back from the dead that would be on another level of awesomeness - until they start to eat us...

  11. They shouldn't do that, it's way too scary! Didn't they see Jurassic Park??

  15. Dinosaurs were wiped out.... so no. There is some belief that it is possible that crocodiles did live at that time and have been around since. Although I am unaware of any proof that this is true.

Of course they should not bring dinosaurs back in any way shape or form. Playing with nature like that is entirely too dangerous and unpredictable.

  17. Yes, dinosaurs are now birds and chicken too!

  18. I have chickens, and the way they walk makes them look like mini dinosaurs. Then I realised that the way dinosaurs walked in documentaries was probably based off chickens so that'd make sense.

  19. Bring back dinosaurs and market them as a new exotic type of meat.

  28. I think we learned from Jurassic Park, we will die in the end.

  29. I think it's best that dinosaurs went extinct, as lulzy as it would be for countries to get ravaged by giant reptiles, It would definitely be a more hostile world >.>

Thanks for the feedback! Hope you continue to enjoy my blog!
I've surprisingly never heard of CKY, but I looked up their stuff on youtube, catchy stuff!

  30. There may well be an evolution chain between dinos and birds, in fact I noticed the same thing pretty much.

Yes, reconstructing a whole dino from a fragment is a bit unachievable with the current technology, though at our stage I think even reverse engineering DNA. At most you can get regressive mutations, but it wouldn't really be a dino, more like a creature resembling a mangled bird.
