I try to play guitar but I sort of suck at it. Both electric and acoustic.
I also tried piano and bass too, they're alright. I don't know, I need lessons or something. I want to play a lot of metal too and that can be pretty tricky to master.
Tell me what you play, how long you've played for and what styles of music you most enjoy playing :)

ReplyDeleteblues guitaist, bassist, play a little metal(Tip-look up "palm mute" and use heavy gauge strings). I was a trombone player in HS, played the solo every week for the marching show at halftime, cause I was the only one who could project. Got tons of younger band girls by being king of the band geeks.

ReplyDeleteHey, I'm back from the dead! Come and visit my blog!
ReplyDeleteI play guitar... acoustic and electric. You can learn Jessica. No doubt, anyone can. The thing is, it takes WAY more time than many 'learn to play overnight' bullshit infomercials have suggested.
ReplyDeleteIf you have a guitar, yes take some lessons to give you things to practice.
I didn't even start to learn the guitar until I was in my twenties. The key to me learning was I picked up the guitar and practiced every single day, even if it was only for 5 minutes. And there were many days I only had a few minutes to strum the guitar. But by picking it up every single day, when I had more time, I was in the habit of holding the guitar and practicing. After about 2 years of this, I could pretty much learn to play practically anything I wanted.
Piano, but I got busy with other things so I wasn't able to practice as much and eventually dropped it.
ReplyDeleteI have no musical talents whatsoever, but can whistle a mean tune
ReplyDeletei've had drum lessons and i can sing a little.
ReplyDeleteI play drums and I also suck.
ReplyDeleteI'm using a tutorial video set called L&M Guitar which is really good, try that. Sorry for the lack of support last few days, been a bit busy but back regularly now :)
